There's to much crap on the center stack as it is. Unless you have more than one garage door opener do what I did. My visor is down 99% of the time so I programed them all to open my door so I just reach in and push any button. :like:
I meant on the UPPER console just ahead of the sunglasses compartment. I've had 3 other vehicles that the opener buttons were located there and not on the visor. My buttons are all programmed for different doors.

I've never had this on any of my other trucks so I didn't have anything to compare it too. You're right, that would be much more convenient there.

Just found a new minor annoyance. The clock did not adjust itself back an hour for the end of daylight saving time today. It took a manual adjustment. Surprised by this since it gets GPS time and uses it to set the clock.

Go to the main screen to settings/clock/auto time zone update

Mine was set for auto update but somehow it didn't - I went into settings and said set from GPS and it adjusted as it should. Not sure what the problem was.

My 2004 Honda that my daughter drives set itself back about 3 weeks ago - it was on the "old" schedule for daylight savings and had never been updated for the new dates - so you have to manually adjust it twice a year.

I know I've had a few vehicles in the past that did that too. Sometimes they would take a day or so to auto update and some I had to do manually. We don't have DST here in AZ so it's nice not to have to change a bunch of clocks around the house. Now I just have to remember that friends and family that I call are only 1-2 hours different than me.

GPS systems don’t inherently know about DST. Any GPS-enables devices you have that set themselves have additional code to handle that. Is it really such a bother? I had mine set before I was at the end of my driveway.

Even if it did change itself, I would spend just as much time trying to confirm that it had done so lol

It's certainly the easiest vehicle clock I've ever changed. None of this 'hold this physical button while the clock cycles through the whole 23 hrs' or anything like that. So it was certainly an upgrade for me.

I haven’t yet read everyone’s pet peeves but now that cold weather is here in my neck of the woods.......the floor heater is not as efficient as my old 97 model.

Radio shutting off..

Was washing my truck yesterday, and had the radio on as I was washing and after awhile , it shut off to save battery... I Wasn't paying attention to the time how long it was when it shut off.

Other than that, Love everything of my Ranger. (Still shocked of how many hate their Auto Start/stop!)
After the radio shuts off, push the radios “on” button and it will come back on.

A power rear sliding window would be handy.

OK, I have one - - - the emergency flasher button. My co-pilot constantly fiddles with the buttons on the entertainment touch screen. He also rests/steadies his hand on the bezel. Several miles down the road, he'll look at me and ask why I have the four-way flashers on. :frown:

In what way? Mine seems to be good? But then, it hasn't really gotten that cold yet here.

Comparing it to my 97, all I used was the floor heat but it was also a standard cab.

The ductwork may be larger so it appears to not be blowing as hard, as compared to my 97 or to heat the cab as quick.
