Short version: Extended warranty will cover the spring replacement.
Dropped it off this morning and got a call around 4:30 that since the issue wasn't caused by corrosion, it would be covered. Now to wait for the spring to come in, was told it could be a couple days or a few months.
Not crazy that they will only replace the broken one but will see how level it sits afterwards. I asked the service adviser to have the transmission fluid level checked and told him about the slow shift into gear and hard 3-4 shifts when cold. Gave him the TSB number and he said he didn't see one when looking it up. He is supposed to call in the morning and let me know on the transmission fluid level and when I can pick it up. I'll print the TSB and take it in when I drop it off for the spring replacement.
Got the Ranger back today. $2300 would have been the cost without the warranty. It just paid for itself.

More test fitting. Getting closer. Wiring gets done Tuesday.

There's still 1 more mounting option I want to test out before I decide. I really want to fabricate something from the pile of brackets I have on hand.

Looks pretty sweet. I’d like to do something similar for sure.

I was gonna put a 20" Light Bar in the bumper opening but I don't want to miss with the ACC sensor. So I'm gonna throw in a pair of 7" Bars instead.

You’re gonna have plenty of light that’s for sure.
? I don’t even use the cruise control on my xlt.. maybe I would if I had the fancy auto one.. but idk i could do without all the fancy sensors.. I do like the back up camera tho.

You can always get one of the ACC relocation brackets to move the sensor if you really want a bar there.

I think my Westin bracket was around $30.

Put on the engine cover. I know, you guys warned me about this mod thing, but I think this one may save me money in the long run if it keeps the water and other crap out of #4 plug. This is all I'm buying, really!:headbang:

Maybe I better stop hanging out here. Some of you are a bad influence.

You have also increased the horsepower by an un-measurable amount.....some have claimed an even more HP increase by adding a Ford Racing Sticker to it...
Enjoy !!!

Well, mainly it looks like I just added something Ford forgot, but I heard it was around 40 hp. :like:

I believe they are still doing dyno testing on the sticker though, so I'm holding off on that.

My Butt Dyno has been on the fritz since riding in my wife's RAV4, horrible seats. It's starting to heal since she got the Escape though, lol!

Sent you a DM.

Corporate drone. Dilbert's world is alive & well.
Rotated the tires. Which of course added 7HP.

I was thinking about it as I updated my maintenance records. Between the oil changes, tire rotation, new wiper blades, hood struts, Fitz stick, grill insert… my truck must be putting @425HP to the wheels at this point.
