2020 ranger XLT 2.5 in leveling kit

just put on 275/70/17 general grabbers and when I crank all the way to the right it rubs the sway bar. Alignment tech told me there’s nothing off with the alignment not sure what to do.

Throw some spacers on. I have 30mm spacers with the same size tire, and i don't rub on the sway bar, however i did have to address the crash bars.

I’ve gotten so many differing opinions on spacers, are they like safe, I also probably only need 1/4 or 1/2 in spacers

Make sure you get hubcentric ones. I grabbed some from Borne Off-Road (or Mishimoto). The issue with the small ones is you often need longer wheel studs... If you get the bigger ones then you don't as the spacer has its own studs built in.

Really with spacers, don't go cheap and you'll be fine.

Ouch, well, live and learn.

Like everyone else says, get spacers. ?‍♂
Do not take a grinder to the tierod end. Thats a bad idea too.

Damn those are cheap...my ko3s were almost double that! Spacers and potentially crash bars are the cheapest route to solve the issue... unless you want to get wheels with like a +40 offset, which should give you the clearance you need without causing other rubbing

Spacers are fine.

When people like to talk about damage/danger from spacers this is what they are referring to:

That and buying Chicom off eBay or Amazon.

If a company called LiChongDing will sell a set (4) to you for $19.99 use some common sense.

You will still have some purist that claim any spacers are bad ju ju, begin rambling about scrub radius for the tires contact patch, and blah blah blah, but that is pretty much chicken little stuff.

Your tire shop shouldn't have sold them to you. I good one will have all the tire sizes that'll safely fit different lift heights.
My tire shop would only sell me OEM size, but when I told them I had a 1" level, they let me increase the tire height.

If you do go with spacers, be sure to use a torque wrench and retorque after 500 miles. Check each tire rotation after. Like Canadian Ranger said, they should have checked during installation of the new tires.

When your spacers rub on the frame of the car next to you LOL

when tires dont at least fill the wheel well it looks funny like the truck missed leg day
