Added a rotopax mount so I can carry 2ga of diesel for a heater in colder months or 2ga of extra fuel or water in warmer months. Also got a carrier set up for a 5lb bottle of propane.

I like multi use devices so being able to either feed a propane campfire like a lavabox (on my Christmas list) or my camp stove makes it a no brainer.

Just required a little fiddling and moving my shovel. Opened up the tent to double check everything clears, we good ? Soon as the heater arrives I think I'm going to do a test run at the range.

Also got my extra Jerry can tied up in the bed, extra 5ga whenever I need it ?

Installed a new set of wheels. Black Rhino mondo 17x8.5 offset +20, on stock tremor general tires 265/70/17 and stock suspension. I had the front crash bar changed for the Readylift ones, but the rear are still the stock ones. No rubbing so far, but it's very close at full lock. I will soon change the rear ones for the Readylift, to eventually accomodate 285/70 tires when these grabbers will be done.

Really love the look and stance. With 285/70, the +20 offset will give a perfect stance along with the extended tremor fender flares.

Love your Wavian can! I have a smaller one and bought a spout that fits into our capless gas filler.

Broke it.

Tow truck came and took it away and it's now sitting on dealer yard waiting for someone to take a look at it next week.

Drove fine until engine stopped mid-drive. Cranks laborously but does not start.

I'd figure it's blocked/frozen Diesel filter. Or if not that then the engine or gearbox is busted.

Are freezing lines a common occurrence in Finland?
I can only recall once where I had fuel gel up on me during driving(delivery driver).

2008ish, Temperatures were around -36°C in Northern Minnesota, never froze but I could tell the gasoline wasn't quite a liquid anymore. My little truck was not happy about it.

For gasoline no, for Diesel.. it's complicated.

Basically there are different grades of Diesel with different freezing temps and in Finland the temperatures may well go below them all. Then you need to think about water and parafin in the Diesel both of which should pass through the fuel filter. If the filter gets watered it would freeze at freezing temps (-0'C) , if parafin blocks the filter it freezes at -9'C.

And then you need to take into account the storage, if the tank stays still for long periods with alternating temperatures it may form different layers and end up freezing. Storage temp for different diesel grades varies between -10'C and -40'C.

So all in all, Diesel freezes somewhere between -0'C and -40'C.

Hmm Diesel seems more involved than I'd thought it would be.
