Hi Guys

I’m planning on fitting a wiring module kit for high beam strobe lights

Just wondering can this be done on my 2019 ford ranger?
Is it safe? Any risk of fire?

I will need the wiring diagrams for headlights if someone could kindly post them (to tap into high beam wiring)

Also need to tap into high beam switch wire either inside car at stalk end, or if it’s in the headlight wiring harness. plus I can tap in there just need the correct diagrams

I will post the module I have with the wiring diagrams later today so it makes it more clear to understand

Thank you

I don’t think anyone has been successful yet on this - as in the US this is only allowed for emergency vehicles- all others it is illegal.
There are a few threads - emergency lighting in this.
I honestly don’t think the BCM will play nice with the power pulse

FYI, most emergency vehicles don't strobe the headlights, you want to see where you're going

Get some ancillary lights and strobe those. The canbus systems these rear lights and headlights work on don't like people jacking with them I've read several threads of people trying to tap them for power or adding lights so they come on at the same time as head lights, tail lights etc, not much success.

Your truck though ??‍♂

Not in the headlamps but Trigger can flash all of the lights connected to it...as long as they're LEDs...

I don't think that you will be able to use the switches for anything else, but here is the diagram.

Thank you I’m mainly after an ignition live feed

Also the small switch on that panel on the left hand side says rear lights but it doesn’t do anything so it’s essentially a blank switch

I’m trying to find an ignition (ACC) live near the fuse box area and various YouTube videos have suggested taking a ignition live feel from the plug of the headlight switch

Just double checking if it would be safe

Alternatively where would be a good choice?

Pin 9 (yellow) wire at the switch would work for a switched power source (depending on how many amps that you need). It would only supply power in start or run, not accessory.

You must be out of squids, that left button is a squid launcher:

But in all seriousness, your switch doesn't turn on the bed lights? I think you probably have that roll bar thing, that we don't, but it must still have lights up there?!?

If you're running many things that can draw serious amps, I'd suggest wiring in an auxiliary fuse block to tap into.

I've run big old school KC lights off a relay wired straight to the battery, but a fuse block would be neater with more options, I think.

I do have a backup alarm directly tapped into the Ranger backup lights and I have seen folks tap bed lights that way too. Both of those draw very little amperage.
