My wife's 2019 Edge is in for transmission work. They offered this 2019 F150 for a loaner now, or wait until something smaller was available. Since we're leaving for vacation tomorrow, she opted for the F150 and they will have her Edge for at least an entire week to fix the trans while we're gone. As she says. wheels are wheels.
Haven't driven it yet, but I damn sure will.

Drove it to the airport. Drives pretty well for 70+k miles. It's definitely been used hard. But those damn tires are noisy, and you can feel them in the steering wheel.
BTW, the Nashville July 4th celebration was freakin' awesome!

I will never understand why anybody would buy a used rental vehicle.
In '98, I did. It was a '95 F150 Flare side, with the 5.0, 16K miles. I paid $16k for it, put on another 300k

That's and advertising gimmick. They want you in that F150 hoping you will decide to but one.
My brother had an F150 Platinum that needed some work done, water pump I think.
They let him use a new F150, King Rang Edition. That was a few years ago, and that truck was close to $70K.
When I took my Ranger in for routine service, the dealer had a new F250 FX4, diesel, King Ranch. The sticker showed close to $93k.

I doubt it, it was a loaner for the wife, and the thing has been through the wringer. No way that truck would sell someone on an F150.

Wifey complained how noisy the doors were when opening, so I did the dealer a favor and took some WD-40 to the doors. Much better! It's not so much the hinges that were noisy, but whatever it is that makes contact with that bumpy black thing. And while at it, did my own since I never have at almost 53k.
Anybody else lube their doors regularly? It's hard to believe someone would go over 70k without ever lubricating the doors.

Soooo many childish joke opportunities here.
But seriously, what kind of odor does that stuff give off? I recently changed my gun cleaner/lube to something very effective yet does not have an offensive odor. (not that I hate the good ole smell of Hoppe's)
