Go Rhino GRT2310B paint chipping

Am I the only one who had issue with go Rhino black powder coating chipping away?
installed in April, started peeling in June and today, I notice that more than 75% of the paint is gone

I put a different brand, stainless steel with black powder coat, and after a few months looked like yours.
Really doesn't bother me...it's an exhaust tip, it gets hot/wet/crud during winter....no big deal to me.
The SS hasn't rusted...just coating has worn away.

Wow Luc - my GRT3414B (14” Black) is fine and it’s been on since July 2022 so it’s been through a full salty winter. I can’t imagine it’s made any differently. I hope they cover it for you under warranty.

I have the 14” and it hasn’t chipped, but it has discolored a bit. I‘m thinking of pulling it off and spraying it with bed liner.

Mine is a tad grey-ish but still looks good after a good cleaning and some 303. ?

If it gets bad, I might try the bedliner thing - do you think it will take the heat?

I looked it up....bedliner apparently is good to around 250 degrees....

My best Googling suggests this should be fine on the exhaust tip, especially the way these are designed/connected. ?

I feel like it would stand up to the heat if the prep is good. Another option would be to use a high heat paint, like the kind made to paint gas grills.

I painted my factory exhaust tip and resonator with high temp grill paint several months ago and still looks fine.

update, spoke to Jesus at realtruck.com told me to go trough amazon for replacement, off course Amazon refused to replace but offered a refund. Item is 15$ more expensive and I would have to contact amazon AGAIN once received....
I have a return label from amazon, will ship it back for a refund and maybe, pone day, Ill order back from realtruck.com directly even tho it<s 10$ shipping....

Bummer, just ordered the black chrome version, hope it holds up. The last flat lack tip I had started chipping.
