Electric Vehicle Sales Are Increasing Exponentially

You could make the argument that it actually took somewhere around 190 years to sell the first million electric cars in the United States. With that, the jump to just two years for the next million is even more impressive — it’s a nearly 99 percent reduction in time. If that’s not exponential growth in EV sales, I don’t know what is.
The simple fact is people are buying more EVs today then they did 6 million years ago. That means the adoption of EVs in America has gone up 60 trillion billion percent. Checkmate gas guzzler driving luddites!

EZGO and Clubcar could school the auto industry on the issues but it would "shock" them too much...

automakers would sell more ev if they had better bag racks, drink holders and a call button for the drink girls...

It is what it is. Are you expecting it to turn around and go the other way? ?

I saw one of these once. It pulled up to the 9 hole, golfers got out and carjacked another golf cart.

I personally think a lot of people's needs fit an EV really well. I think an even bigger percentage fit the PHEV really well.

My neighbor Beth is a raging progressive. Beth is never shy to express her opinion. Her mother bought a Tesla Model 3 recently and Beth was visiting and did all the driving for her mother.

The other day I was at a neighborhood cocktail party and Beth was holding court on her impressions of her mother's Tesla. To say she thought it was a total POS would be really understating it.

I think I will stay on the sidelines with TSLA, the stock.

Lots of incentives on the EV's currently aside from the tax credit. Local ford dealer had several Mach-e's on lot so I decided to look them over. They said Ford was offering 0% for 60mths and $7500 off and then the tax credit if you qualified. Local Tesla dealer had several Model 3's and Y's for around 8k off about a month ago. Just observation on what I've seen lately.

As it should, since it wasn't real. :)
? I didn't quiz the rep at my Tesla test drive appointment. He just said that I could qualify for up to $8k off and that I should look at the website if I chose to persue a purchase. He may have rolled the tax credit in on that amount, no idea? Given one could qualify for the $7500 tax credit, that was likely what he did. I was just interested in driving one to know what they were like to drive.

Ok, that's not a dealer, but I understand the confusion. I thought you were referring to an actual dealer with cars for sale on the lot, with sales people. The rep is not a salesman and is really only there to answer questions and get you a key card. He couldn't care less if you purchase one.
