A little big for my taste, but how well does integrate with the truck?
It's an XL that doesn't have Auto climate control is my guess.

When you have only the small 4”, non-touchscreen infotainment system (XL and XLT 300A), you need to be able to control the a/c and heat manually - keep in mind these are old school controls for fan speed and warm vs. cold for the entire truck and not the type of “climate control” where you set the temperature for the driver and passenger and the system takes over.

I like it. The dash kit uses the factory climate control, it splits in half

It works either way, I still use the original knobs, it is an XL... The system messages come across the radio
