Dealership stated new TSB only allows cleaning of Transmission valve body

Hello, I have a 2019 with 43000 km on it and i am having the typical issues with my transmission. I brought it in for an appointment where they said they will replace the valve body, after having it for a day (originally said they would have it for 5) they called me and said a new TSB only allows them to clean the valve body and not replace it. Anyone have any experience with this and did it work? Thanks.

that stinks! but in my experience the replaced vale body did not fix the issue.

Latest TSB seems to be 23-2250 which came out 8/14/2023. This is what they applied to my Ranger last week which included overhauling the valve body. So far so good. The shift strategy appears a bit different now with the software update applied as well.
