2023 Ranger Speedo Tune w/ Bigger Tires

So I’ve got the bigger tires now, but it seems there just aren’t any products out there to calibrate my speedo. All I can find are products that work from 19-22 Rangers. Nothing for the 23s. Rough Country had their speedo calibrator listed as working on the 2023 Ranger. I bought it and contacted customer service when it wasn’t working. They told me their marketing department jumped the gun and has since changed their listing for the product as only working in 19-22. Have any of you guys managed to calibrate your Speedo on a 2023 ranger with bigger tires?

Nothing has changed through the years so it's strange that it wouldn't work on a '23. If you have or are going to tune yours the calibrator will have a setting to adjust for larger tires.

So what I’ve gathered talking to my Ford dealership, Rough Country, and some others customer service departments. The ECM coding is different on the 2023 which is why most tuners only work up to 2022. Idk what they changed but for now I guess I’ll have to sit patiently until a product is released. Speedo is only off by about 5% which is fine I just want the ECM to read the correct size tires for my shifts. The shift windows can be a bit weird at times now that I’m running 285s.

You can change the tire circumference with Forscan. I just did mine after 2 years of being on 285s.

Do you have a link on a step by step way to do this? I don’t want to screw it up and from my understanding forscan can be a little complicated for someone like me with no experience. Thanks.

Went from the stock 265s on my FX4 to a 3.5” lift, fuel flame 20” +20 offset, and Nitto recon grappler 285/55/20

And a tire size change video, skip passed all the MAC stuff. I used 2460mm. Lots of speedometer apps for your phone using GPS to check accuracy after updates.

I did the Forscan when I switched to 285s back in 2019...I recall I got the code from someone online and it appeared to work...I've been tracking the mileage odometer versus GPS odometer over a tank full of gas and they're within 1 mile of each other after 3/4 tank of gas...pretty good...
