Are you sure?

If you look at it from the rear it only appears there is a fill plug

However, if you look underneath on the driver side you will find a drain plug

Just did mine

I reused mine. I took the cover off so I could get the settled particles out that don’t come out by draining.

Wasn't this a deleted item on newer models?
Don't know for sure...my 2021 has a drain plug. All it takes is a few seconds to bend down and look.

Late 21 here; it vanished. Mine is almost a 22. I put pictures to prove it is missing in another thread. You can see where it should/could be... but nope no drain. The service manual changed super late 21; guessing that date is when some of the changes started.

I am going to swap the gasket because relatively cheap vs the oil I am going to dump in it. Peace of mind if anything. Not sure if its meant to be reused or not.

My '22 XLT doesn't have the drain plug. Replaced the gasket when I changed the fluid. Gasket was cheap enouogh!

Shop manual says the gasket is reusable up to 20 times as long as it is not pinched or damaged. What is the torque speck of those 10 head bolts to install the cover?
The shop manual states 14.75 ft.lb to remove but doesn’t specify if that’s the same to install.
