• Finished installing my automatic folding mirror module. Works like a charm.
• Swapped out a 12v socket for a USB port
• Velcored my wireless Android Auto up out of the way.
• Attempted to install a wireless charging phone holder. Not sure the tape is going to hold.

Found a tonneau cover on offer up brand new for 300 got it installed mounted one of my chase lights onto the tonneau cover with a rivnut and a small bracket I had to make. Still need to do the passenger side. Going to baja is going to be a bit more comfortable with luggage fully secured. O went to Norms with sister in law and her ranger and a random ranger that was on the lot.

Given your signature, you're not hard up on cash. Get yourself a dedicated off-road bumper... It'll be more useful for future mods.

Plus, you cut that corner off the oem bumper it'll become a flimsy piece of metal.

Lol I don't believe on spending an ass ton of money to get things done. I did buy a jb2 bender along with 1.75 dies, as well as building a press brake I do plan on building a baja style bumper as there really isn't anything on market I like plus spending 2k on a bumper when about 300 in materials will do. As for thriftyness you could look at my build thus far nothing but name brand stuff at 1/4 or 1/2 price along with the fact that my 280z has about 30k in parts of what I'm truly building from ground up. But I can see where it would look like ass.

Installed White Knuckle sliders. Pretty easy install with the help of a neighbor ( GM guy). Was shorted the hardware for the top plates but they have them coming in the mail. I’ll throw some inexpensive bolts and nuts on them to get me through my 4 day trip on Drummond Island next week then swap them out when the WK stuff comes in. Went with the straight out and top plates for wife’s step requirement. Top plates have kind of a no skid surface to them. Took about 7 weeks to get them from order to my door.

So a tip for anyone doing trans fluid or axle fluid changes get a garden sprayer cheapest easiest solution to filling no leaks keeps everything self contained. This is a trick I learned at work fixing forklifts filling hard to access pumps to fill with hydrualic fluid. I take the spray nossle part off heat up the tip slightly and bend it so I can hook it.

I'm guessing you'll need a sprayer that handles thicker fluids? or woul a cheapo walmart/amazon unit handle it?

I use a harbor freight 12 dollar one most are generic rebranded.
