I was looking at the Putco and they say you need the one they sell with a cutout for adaptive cruise trucks. I thought it was like radar and metal will mess with it.
I've seen those too Ed. This one says it works with and without the ACC. I don't remember who but several members here have it and said they've had no issues with their ACC.

Works with or without ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control)
One of the comments:

“Looks great & easy to install. No issues with using adaptive cruise control at all. I recommend it if you want to complete the lower grill on 2019 Lariat!”

I would keep a copy of those instructions with your truck paperwork should there ever be an incident involving the ACC. That would help with an insurance claim. In most cases metal grates and radar don't mix well.

Thanks Bob. I was thinking about getting the Raptor grille. But now that it's done like the look with the red too. I'm going to get the tow hooks powder coated red so I think that'll balance everything off.
I like the looks of the tremor grille much better than the raptor. Adding red tow hooks should look really good too

That won't be a problem for me as I hate ACC. I always forget it's set and then I end up behind someone going slower and falling back down to like 60 mph. lol

Where are you planning on mounting it? My last truck I had the trumpets mounted under a tool box facing the tailgate but with the rangers micro bed that's not an option
I'm still working through that in my head. The horns themselves will be mounted under the truck for sure in whichever orientation they'll fit. The real challenge will be where to put the compressor.

It's a 3-liter compressor, so small at 16.5"x7". I'm debating whether to mount it under the truck as well or in the bed. I'm leaning towards putting it in the bed on the driver's side up against the firewall. If I do that, I could potentially plumb an air nozzle in by the fuel nozzle, so I'd have an air hookup hidden inside the fuel door. But then like you mentioned, it'd take up valuable space. Although, suppose I could plumb it up from under the truck as well if it'll fit.

I'm all for suggestions and opinions. Also plan to have aux switches installed and the compressor hooked up to a switch rather than the ignition.

I used the Putco on mine and do have the one with the cutout for adaptive cruise...just in case. It was easy to install and works fine. But like Dave says, many on here use the M2M and it supposedly doesn't mess with the cruise.

I would like to see the test data on that. Just because something seems to work doesn't mean it's fully functional without proper testing. Especially safety systems.

I wasn't willing to test it, hence my purchase of the Putco.

I'll be the test dummy and try it out when we go on our trip in 2 weeks. I never use ACC but it'll be a good test to see if it actually works without and problems. Although, now that I think of it this could be the making of Money Pit 3.

Yeah I’ve had the M2M since I bought the truck 2 years ago and haven’t had any issues with it messing with ACC.

To those concerned with the grill insert possibly causing the ACC to not be fully functional...QUIT relying on technology to keep yo out of accidents.
It isn't there yet. keep your eyes on the road.
Now back to the regularly scheduled program.

Another package today. Got my Sumo Springs. Guess it's time to get on my back and see how hard it's going to be to get the factory bump stops off.

Scott, I got the M2M grille insert installed this morning. I think it took me longer to find a flat head screw drive than it did to install it. lol I like the look and it just makes the front end look complete now.

looks amazing! I need to get one.
