Ugly Dave is correct. Easy to pop out and swap.Ed, I haven't changed mine yet. IIRC you can just pop them off by using a small flat head screw driver in the two tabs below.

Can you change them without tearing the cap off?

That really should've been caught before it was too late.That's because the bed height is off. ?
Thanks Dave. I saw the wire pigtails on the replacements and was wondering where the conn is located. I'm going to order the Dorman set now after seeing the wiring on this is different and they look to use a single cob led onn the Dorman that should last longer.I had this video saved and they just pop right out using a small screwdriver.

I found them on Amazon and they were supposed to fit but looks like they are for older models without the canbus and not fully compatible now that I have done some research. Made to replace oem incandescent. I'll keep looking.Where did you find the Dorman lamps?
