A long video but a worthwhile watch if you’re invested in all the ins n outs of the Raptor. Here Andre from TFL goes through the whole Ranger Raptor with Fords Performance chief. He really goes through the whole truck explain the different options and features of this truck. He also explains why there’s only 33’s instead of 35’s or 37’s like the Bronco Raptor at the 7:00 mark. They wanted to keep the width narrower than the Bronco and the F150 which those two share a lot of the same parts plus you loose travel with larger tires. This makes sense and I’m glad they did this otherwise this wold be huge like the other two.

At the 21:20 mark he then talks to the North America chief engineer of the region about the regular Ranger. They go through all the changes from the 5G to the 6G and show the 2.7 V6 and explain why they had to make a few things larger to accommodate the larger motor. The rear shocks have also been moved outward from the frame to tune the ride better. It’s nice to see they added 3 stake pocket in the bed rail for mounting points for racks or caps and they’re back to 6 tie downs again. . And of course the Holy Grail…..A Damper comes standard!

Somebody needs to ask about if we'll ever get gears (ring and pinion) on the 19-23's or at least what compatible. Lol

Lots of delete bait on it. Right off the bat I can see:
2 pockets instead of 3
2 or 4 tie downs instead of 6
No damper ( might not be a negative for Dave)
Removal of tailgate clamp pockets
Reduction of tailgate yard stick to 12”
Upper glove box ( or lower)

Posting for future model year revelations

I'll bet there's going to be a lot more than that based off what they deleted on the 5G since 2019.

:stop: It took 5 years to get a damper standard no way it's coming off now!:captain:

56K for the ranger raptor! Well, I will continue to not own a Raptor variant of any vehicle lest I hit the jackpot.

Since the Raptor has the v6, that means the plugs aren't on top of the engine - I'd guess the 3.0 isn't afflicted by the same issue.
