Yeah , factory sprayed it, I thought that was stamped in ? , I don't like it either really , makes the front all cattywompus (is that a word there?)
Yup, "cattywompus" is a real word. I know it is because my dad was using it way back in the 50s, if not earlier. I don't remember anything before about 1956 (when I was 4).

I finally got the picture of the dash just now from my salesman. They had sent my truck out to get the spray in bed liner done and just got it back. It's the normal Lariat dash which I thought it would be and the liner they use is from Mil Spec liner. It looks like a similar process that Line-X does where they sand/scuff the bed and apply it. It also has a nationwide lifetime warranty. The hard folding tonneau cover goes on Monday!

Is that the same layout that you had? I don't know how the other half lives but I think I remember that there were two configurations - one with two gauges and one with two screens like above (oh the challenge of the good life - the struggle is real). =p

And when are you heading out to get it? =)

Mine was so decontented that this is the speedometer/cluster that I have:

Yes this is the same one I had in my '19. I read they were putting the XLT dash in the Lariat for a while because of the chip shortages. To bad because I really like that dash better but with all the deleted items I guess I should be thankful I'm getting a dash.

We're (finally) leaving tomorrow morning. Flight lands in Spokane at 12:38 and the salesman is picking us up. It shouldn't take long at the dealer seeing there's no loan involved and I don't need them to go over anything on the truck.

I'm glad you are able to replace "Money Pit" so soon. Hoping you have safe travel going home.

Are you over-nighting anywhere Dave? Or going for the hero's journey? I saw you mention you were not planning on "stopping" but didn't know how far you meant that. Godspeed and enjoy breaking in that beautiful truck.

Thanks Adam! No not going to try and be a hero, maybe 20 years ago but not now. lol We're stopping in La Grande,OR tomorrow night then again in Ely,NV on Wednesday night. I'd like to stop and see more of the sites along the way but we're leaving 2 weeks later for a month long trip and Annie has to work on Friday.
