I was using Forscan to update my tire size and got the wrench. So I went to relearn pcm and pretty sure I hit reset pcm now. Also realized I did not save the as built (learned that's different than the profile after the fact) so I'm aware the situation is self caused.

I now have the P0630 vin not recognized error in the pcm and odb error. I tried to load the as built from online and that didn't clear anything out. The vin appears correctly in the bcm which I figured would have came over with a relearn but no I guess. I'm stuck at what I should do or if I've got myself stuck and need to schedule a trip to the service department for a pcm flash?

Update: I've resolved this now after messing around for 3 hours. Possibly a bad connection, who knows. I re-verified that everything was back to default settings (stuff I changed) and that vin was correct and forced the write,,,,, and it randomly worked. Of note, I went ahead and copied all as builts now!

Glad you resolved it and didn't brick the system.
Where in La? I'm near Lafayette.
