Congratulations on you’re new white Ranger. It really looks much better in the pictures than the ones on Fords site. White will be really easy to take care of and show a lot less dust than say, blue.

Hopefully there were no problems at the dealership and everything went smoothly. Did they clean the interior up good enough? Gregg @gfitzge2 made a special call over to C crew and told them to christen it really good for you. If not I can ship you out a case of 303 All Purpose cleaner which really does do a great job. Especially at getting spots and odors out.:inspect:?
The black light I ordered him should be in any day now.

Hi Friday Yet,

Congratulations! Glad the first 60 miles were under your belt without incident. Now...Set your tire pressures to the drives side door label. Should be part of PDI but rarely done.

I hope the heritage of Ford Tough applies to your Ranger as well and gives you work and fun times without any hassle...

Best,
Phil
Going to do that in the morning. One at 39, one at 40, two at 42. Yep, tomorrow. Grab cup of coffee. Grab tire gauge, grab compressor (Because I will most definitely let at least one tire down too much. Might as well own my habits/mistakes.)
And while I am adjusting the tires... stare lovingly at my beautiful blue truck.

You know, I could totally see someone standing in their garage at night just looking at their new truck. Owners manual in hand. Sitting in it. Turning it on and going through the various dash display options.... again. Looking at the outside from various angles. Admiring the color. Could totally understand some people doing so. Nothing wrong with it. Heck I support them. To each their own. Takes all kinds in this ol' world.

Just sayin'...

In all seriousness congratulations!!:like: You'll now be able to enjoy it like we all have been doing and share your stories with us too. Just give it some time to break in as the transmission will shift and feel weird for a while. Then you can tune it and add all sorts of other things you never knew you needed and be broke like the rest of us! ?

Hood struts. See those coming quickly.

Ordered the bed mat and the tailgate protector while I was at the dealer today. My points almost covered it all.

Congratulations. I wanted Blue but Henry said it was black or nothing last year.
You'll never hear me bash black. I've had 3 of them. Great color. But as we all know you just can't keep it clean.

Phil, based on my life long Ford experience I expect nothing but stellar service. Realize some on here will cringe and shake their heads when reading that... but Ford has provided me nothing but great vehicles. That's why I've remained a Ford guy all these years.

My excel maintenance tracking sheet for the Ranger is already set up. Initially I had set it up to 200K miles. Later I went back and changed it to 250K and felt embarrassed for initiallly short changing my truck.

With a little luck I'll never buy another truck. Will have to buy a car for the warden. But this truck should be my last vehicle. And I plan on living a LOT more years. That's just my confidence in Ford.
