Someone on the Bronco forum chopped up his brand new First Edition to make his own Bronco Pick Up. I have a thread on it here and he did a great job fabricating everything up.

I've always liked the 2dr broncos better (and honestly, 2dr jeeps, also). I absolutely hate the gladiator. this modded 2dr bronco looks pretty incredible.

That may not be a concept at all. It's probably the only complete vehicle they can build with the parts they have.
and they still had to decontent!

Hey, great truck! Any chance they would really build one of these?
To answer your question, Marc, I do not think so, however I have been surprised before. Even though this is not a concept by FMC, it looks cool (to me anyway), and I would like one if they built them. Kudo's to the guy that made the concept rendering. I am sure it took some time to make this "Bronco Truck" :like:

What the heck....BUILD IT !!! They will most likely build in on the same production line as the Bronco, which means...the Bronco's on order will get even more backed up, and the orders for the new Bronco Pick up will also be backed up. Parts for Broncos will be diverted to the new pick up.
There will be new production boo-boos with the new pick up, thus slowing the line down even more.
So, to Ford...build it...it will be a sure way to lose even more customers !!!

It made sense for Jeep to do this as they don't have a pickup truck on offer, plus it gives parent company Stellantis a "mid duty" pickup product to offer since RAM is 1/2 ton + for their product line. For Ford it makes no sense whatsoever as this will just cannibalize their already successful and complete line of pickup trucks. A Bronco pickup is just like the Ranger's "cool cousin" and because it makes no sense whatsoever - I 100% believe Ford will build this. They can't seem to get enough.

But it ain't a Ford.
:frown:
Have to admit as much as I like my Ranger Tremor, I do like the Jeep Gladiators too. Both are very capable vehicles. I just am a bit concerned about all the transmission issues that have been talked about here lately on the Rangers.

ehh. im ready for the stupid concepts to stop and all the ev shenanigans to come to reality outside of wokeism. ford needs to build, warranty, and service what they already have customers invested in and waiting for. as for the bronco pickup, make it a two door extended cab with a 6 and 8 foot bed option with real truck ability and i bet it would sell. everyone keeps saying oh trucks like that dont sell anymore... of course they dont. no one can find one to buy lol. look how many 3/4 and 1 ton trucks we see around town. people still buy real trucks. we got enough minivans disguised as utility and off road rigs already. a bronco "truck" would just be the next fluffy pimped d bag wagon for the rich folks.

when it comes to building cool stuff without regard to practicality or market crap we gotta give an admiring nod to Dodge. I know plenty of folks are anti dodge and thats fine. but when they have concepts or ideas about stuffing a monster engine in something or throwing 40 inch tires on it or even making a from the show room drag car its like the whole company opens a new case of beer and say F it. build it. a year later they are doing donuts and burnouts in the production model of it.
