Don't think for one minute it hasn't crossed their minds to build a Gladiator competitor, because they have.
Of course it would sell, we can't spend our money quick enough! Lol
I'm pretty sure Ford teased this exact thing before the actual Bronco release, and then decontented the whole model.

Good idea and already did with Granger Ford just after I bought it. I drive it pretty easy and don't put a lot of miles on it or go off road, so I may be fine. Just a bit unnerving to see all the concerns here lately :frown:
I wouldn’t stress it. Forums tend to bring out people hyper focused on their vehicle. Obviously there are some real complaints from some members, but the vast majority of owners are fine. Don’t let noise in the forum make you fearful - I recommend you just enjoy your Tremor unless there is a real problem for you. I do tend to think some people just overthink it.

I can be guilty of this too. I expect my mild drivetrain clunk will return with warm weather, but just enjoy it. It’s a great truck!

Good Advice Mike! Thanks!

I feel like such a thing is a different kind of corporate decision. 2 door, 4 door, and Gladiator Jeeps are more "Lifestyle" vehicles. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I never see commercial or fleet versions of these vehicles. Of the Rangers I see in New York City, they appear 50/50 work vehicles to personal vehicles. Of all the Rangers I see around Brooklyn, mine is the only one I see built out. Making the decision to build a Bronco pickup seems like it would have to be based on the economy. The minute people start having more discretionary income with favorable interest rates, you can bet that Ford will decide to go after some of it. That truck will sell to anyone interested in a Gladiator but isn't a Jeep cultist.

Just my two cents....

If Range Rovers sell in the US and people clamor for Raptor versions of anything Ford I can totally see a boutique off-road truck in the mix. It would displace more Gladiator sales, shoulder aside Toyota and cut Dodge off with some of their concept trucks that may or may not come out.

Just keep steel bumpers.

Like this fan video suggests use off-the-shelf components with minimal and less costly to engineer parts and you'd have noses pressed against the windows.
