They should be selling balls in pairs, just sayin…Looks like on the Ford build site when you add tow package {~495} they now require you to add $40-50 tow ball.
Nope. Only be happy when they stop deleting the parts we like and stop adding things we don't need.Yumpin Yimminy.......first ya all complain when something is deleted, now your gonna complain when something is added...
Just no making you all happy !!!!!
Yes, adding a $15 tow ball for the low, low price of $50.Yumpin Yimminy.......first ya all complain when something is deleted, now your gonna complain when something is added...

$15 is too high, it only cost $1.50.....its a steel ball lol. Ever watch Shark Tank?Yes, adding a $15 tow ball for the low, low price of $50.
Sorry, but a top quality class 3 ball, 2 5/16 inch, can easily cost $50 bucks and some go up to almost $100.. I would never trust my rig/hitch/trailer with a cheap ball.Yes, adding a $15 tow ball for the low, low price of $50.
Good point. I've never had to have one. Now the question is: What is the rating of the one's from Ford?Sorry, but a top quality class 3 ball, 2 5/16 inch, can easily cost $50 bucks and some go up to almost $100.. I would never trust my rig/hitch/trailer with a cheap ball.
Cheaper 2 5/16 inch rated for 6-7000 lbs are cheap, but get into the same diameter rated for 15-25,000 lbs will cost you $$$. There are differences in quality.
I would guess it's going to be able too handle the weight and tongue rating of the Ranger...7500/750 lbs, which means a moderate rated ball.Good point. I've never had to have one. Now the question is: What is the rating of the one's from Ford?
Yeah, great if your trailer takes a 2 inch ball...useless if, like mine, it's a 2 5/16 inch.From Ford's site:
- This heavy-duty hitch ball is for towing applications up to 6,000 lbs. GTWR 2” ball, 1” shank diameter, 2-1/8” shank length
