Has anyone been dealing with vendors taking 3 months, or more, to ship things their website never said was on back order? I'm dealing with a rather prominent vendor in the community and I've only received HALF my order in almost 3 months (3 months as of the 4th).
They said they expected the parts end of December. Then in a "few weeks" at the beginning of January. Any time I ask them for an update (they've already taken my money), they just say "we'll email you the tracking number when it ships". In other words, they stopped setting time expectations.
I'm getting a bit frustrated with the whole situation and am not sure what to do. I want the parts, I just am starting to feel like they're never going to come, or it'll take another 3+ months (with zero assurance).
Any similar experiences and/or thoughts/advice?
