They appear to be lockable also. Did they have taller cases that would still fit under a folding cover?

Yes they are lockable! They are made by plano and capable of holding 85lbs. They do make other boxes of various sizes but not all are available at home depot. The sportsman's trunk They make that is 106 qts looks like a sweet storage option and can be had for 50ish from walmart.

I have a gatortrax retractable cover that o got a great deal on. I like the boxes for storing jumper cables, extra oil, tow straps, ratchet straps etc.

Those things are a must. For now I cram it all behind or under the back seat. No oil though, waiting until it gets older.

Can't cram behind the seat in a scab lol. I've always carried a qt of oil in ever vehicle I've ever owned. Never used it other than starting a fire with wet wood lol. I figure if I don't I'll need it lol.

Oh I think we'll forgive you.

I enjoyed seeing the boxes. Something I was certainly not aware of. And something that I'd most likely not have searched for here.

My apologies for posting, when I searched for plano I didn't find that thread. Guess I didn't dig deep enough.
No worries. Just sharing others' uses of the Plano boxes.
It's not like we only have one e damper thread on the forum.
