Is there any home where it’s always open discussion about how much money and on what purpose exactly you really spend on your Ranger? And you can do with your Ranger whatever you like?
Maybe I have missed useful tips thread “how to explain why I need something to my truck and when it’s done, I need something more”?

There's no useful tips or tricks thread. Just spend as much as you can and we'll help you spend the rest. ?

I buy whatever I want, whenever I want it for my Ranger. I just tell the wife to shut the hell up.:p

I read it. Like I said just spend what you want. Might as well go out with a bang and have a lot of mods to show for it!

See this doesn't comprehend in my mind because I've never had anyone tell me I couldn't spend MY own money. ?‍♂

Wait a second, I’m missing something here! You are the girl in the relationship and pretty sure you get what ever you want or…. Well let’s say he sleeps on the couch if he isn’t smart enough to get that. Or, I married the wrong girl ?

Someone who expects the ability to tell their partner what they can spend their money on.. is in no way mentally healthy enough to be in a relationship.
lol Well I wouldn't go that far, I mean it is a partnership and the other can give advise. But as long as the bills are paid and you're also saving money I see no reason for someone to tell the other what they can do with THEIR money.

Every situation is different though. We both have our own accounts but we both talk to each other about large purchases. I will advise her at times to not spend so much or wait a bit until there's better pricing because things are way overpriced right now. She rarely tells me what I can/should spend but I still value her opinion.

Obviously some degree of advice/concern whatever is reasonable.

You know what I meant for the most part lol. Some people take it way too far. I'm lucky I don't need to deal with that. Absolute deal breaker.

Sometimes it is better to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission.

We compromised - he doesn’t ask and I don’t tell. I keep some things out of his sight but also take care of his car.

Every time the conversation comes up of how many fishing rods or stuff for hunting do you need? My response is how many pairs of shoes do you really need. Then we both laugh about it lol. When you work hard for your money you have to enjoy it.
