Installed some seat covers today. Bought them from a local shop, not sure what the brand is but its made in Korea. Not bad for a universal fit. Front seats cover really fits well in the Ranger.

Back seat, I removed the center cover so the armrest can be utilized.

Riveted the handle to the tray. Can't believe I went 33 years without having this thing...

So when I first got into electrical work on my Ranger I found ways to get wiring into the cabin via non-firewall ways cause I didn't want the hassle of fishing lines. Not to big a deal, but just ended up having to route wiring to odd places and using more wire in general.

I felt the same way when I discovered this;

Well, I am looking to expand my "I'll rarely use" tool collection. What's the name of this giant stabby needle looking tool?

Now I can officially say "I'm going to insert my tool"
I might add it would make one hell of a messy personal defense weapon. If you stabbed someone with that they are going to leak.... badly.

It's called a wire feed tool or wire insertation tool.
Handle is hollow...you poke it or pierce thru a rubber grommet ot hole in a firewall or panel and feed the electrical wire into the tip and into the handle. Basically a hollow tube, but the ridged "grabber" teeth lets you pull wire back thru the hole or grommet.

I put on some home made armor!

No i dont do rock crawling. Just somethung for sticks and small stones when in mud ruts and so on. Deer lease branches, small stumps things of that nature.
Yes too lazy to paint and primer, its fine, will work great in the brush. Never broke anything by hitting the bottom, just a little more peace of mind

Yeah, took me a few seconds of looking at the package (heh, package...) to figure that part out.

I don't mess with electrical work too often on newer vehicles but definitely a handy tool to have whenever I decide to risk burning it to the ground with some nice additional lights.

While you're buying hardly ever going to use tools, get your self one of those pin removers for molex Connectors... And a crimper to make your own Connectors...

Got some cheapo crimpers but no pin removal keys/tools. I'll probably buy those with the stabby wire tool

I've been using the tip of my hand cuff key as a pin remover all these years. Hmm...

LOL
