I've had this plate, the Luke Air Force Base/Fighter Country Foundation "Sound of Freedom", since I got my Ranger 1 1/2 years ago.
In that time I've only seen one other like it, and that was down in Phoenix.
This is a plate number from an internet photo as I didn't want to show my personalized one.

Ok a few stories. The GOODZ license plate was from my 87 Camaro. GOODZ was kind of my nickname for a while. MX GOLF was from my 1999 TACO then on my 2013 Ford Fusion. The MX GOLF came from my first email address. I was thinking of my handle so wanted a motocross one hence the MX. All the ones I liked were taken so then I add the GOLF since I love to golf. I didn't know whether to cross it up or chip it in. LOL Then I started my own company MXGOLF Photography LLC. It's getting way to expensive for special plates any more and since I have 4 vehicles to license, tag and insure and said ok no more special plates for me.

I read the pros and cons of the bill and looks like there are a lot of variables. My take is that if it has a reasonable success rate in apprehending criminals considering the costs and logistics of the change...I'm in. Maybe some of our LEO's & Ex-LEO's would like to chime in on this to get their opinions.

I've always done personalized plates, it's fun and creative to come up with either a challenge or notices for other drivers.

I had this on my 2000 Lightning, but the Ranger is RDTORCK (as I am in the Pro Audio Business) and the Bronco is 2DWTHRS, as it is our 2nd White Horse. The other is a SVNTY Mustang in pieces in the Garage, my first car that is being restored. Know a Body Man / Welder?

Ohio just got rid of the front plate requirement a couple years ago "to bring Ohio laws more in line with other states" . I never heard of anybody getting a citation for not having a front plate before that and many cars didn't have them
