It is good insulation, but strictly short-term stuff. Feels like urethane foam. Made from corn starch. They make "peanuts" of the stuff, too. Dissolves in water is the killer. Can't use it for home insulation. Oh, and insects and rodents like to eat it...Well I just found a new fuel source. Bought 10 pounds of frozen yellow fin tuna steaks from Costco.com and just received it. The packing foam all says it can be burned. We need other companies to use this foam.
the whole box was lined with it and the dry ice pack didn't melt any in 2 days so it's great insulation. Subquark would probably get enough to heat his home if Amazon started using it with all he orders.![]()

. Interesting stuff I wonder if it has any nutritional value? I am going to see if it's really good plant food in my garden this summer.
