Chrome now gives me a pop up when I open a new window about Windows 7 no longer being supported.

You can have Windows 7 when you pry it from my cold dead hands you bastards.

I guess I need re-load BRAVE browser soon.

I highly recommend ditching 7 soon. January 10, 2023 is the end of ESU support. There's a high likely hood of undiscovered 0 days and exploits being used the next day.

The reason is because any new security problem in windows 7, will not be fixed after January 10th.

Have you thought about running Linux. There's lots of great free Linux Distros like Ubuntu or Linux Mint?

Mint is great and Ubuntu I used for years too. Although for my money you can't go wrong with Temple OS. The creator was a genius who told people CIA agents glow in the dark and that you should run them over with your car.

I still run 2 XP boxes. Not on the internet but never miss a beat. One for CAD with a parallel port dongle to run it and one with Mach32 parallel interface to run my CNC plasma. I hope they never die. Not going to mention my Ms DOS box.

I got an old laptop a pentium 1 running win 95. That’s my CAD and circuit board cad. Still runs.

same here brother. i have windows 10 at work and do not like it. 7 seems more user friendly with less hang ups. tired of the pop up about it

Well, crap. Our 11-year CNC plasma table uses Mach3 and Win 7, and there is no chance of updates or upgrades on this old gal. I still have to use it. I guess I'll just have to disconnect it from our network and go back to transferring files by USB.

Switch to Linux Mint 21! You'll never go back! All software is free, more reliable than Windoz and no spying or virus software needed!
