I hope it works out. Honestly, but from what my dealer explained to me 2 weeks ago was that we probably won’t see any here that are not “hugely” marked up. That seems to be be Ford’s motto anymore….it will be a Bronco fiasco again. Ford is great at marketing, but can’t deliver…..
Yeah I'm not going to get overly excited until I can actually place my order. I'm just glad he didn't have anyone else interested yet and was #1 on the list. As far as markups go I've bought several trucks from him and so did my dads company. That was the first question I asked him because a Raptor in any vehicle always has a high markup. He said no and not to worry we'll take care of you. lol I've heard that one before.

Also I have a good friend who actually knows him much better than I do. He's bought over a dozen vehicles from him for his business and family and everything has always been at or below MSRP. This is the owner of the dealership not some salesman so I'm not concerned about games being played if/when this ever works out. ?

If you get an allocation through your dealer and you've got an agreement I don't see why they wouldn't honor it unless they decide your multi-generational relationship is worth $25k. I doubt it. Especially if they honor this waiting list.

I think they're going to be $63k MSRP but optioned up to $75k possible. $10k under under the Bronco Raptor is my estimate.

It wouldn’t be Bonnell Ford would it? I know him personally. I dated his daughter years ago. One a month she got a new ride and I always got to drive on dates! Man, good times!

Yes I don't think they're willing to kill a long relationship especially with my good friend, He's been really helpful in getting me back in touch with the owner since I've been away from the area for 8+ years now. Although when I talked with him (the owner) he remembered me and my dad and he's really not your typical slimy owner/dealer.

That's why I said depending on the price. lol I'll have to decide once the order banks open if I'm not passed out from sticker shock. I don't care how rare they may be, no way I'm paying $75K for a truck.

Good for you!

Personally I just can't see paying that price for a mid size pick up. But then again...I'm cheap! LOL
I am too but depending on the price it'll hopefully be a retirement present to myself. lol

? Although at that price I may need to work a few more years. lol

I've said it before the only thing (besides my family) that I miss the most back there is the seafood! Oh how I would kill for some good fried clams and Lobsta!!?
Lob Stah is so highly overrated says the old guy in Maine ?

I am just hoping to get a 24’ Ranger Lariat without markup. I decided to keep my 19’ Lariat until then. I have a good relationship with my dealer also, but that really means nothing. Like I said I am just hopeful for a 24’ Lariat.

That's pretty close to me. I'll buy you some fried clams if I can check out the Ranger Raptor, definitely out of my range.

I've heard good things about Sarat Ford. My local ford said to call them when i asked about the tune. Waiting on tax returns to make that call.

With the way the economy is there's a good chance you can. I'm seeing more and more Broncos going down to MSRP now and people have been saying there's a lot on the dealers lots near them.

My whole intention was waiting for the PHEV Ranger. But the wheels were turning in my head over the past couple weeks trying to decide what to do. I love my Ranger and it wouldn't be the end of the world if I had to keep it a few more years until the PHEV was out. I guess It'll be an easier decision once the pricing comes out.

If it goes through absolutely! They've always been a really good stand up dealership. Maybe not the best prices over the years but their service and integrity are worth paying a little extra for.
