I have heard that spacers aren't great, that's the main reason I haven't put any on yet. Does anyone know if offset rims are similar? I have the chrome package so I'm not opposed to swapping rims.
I just replaced my grill but kept the chrome trip. Yes it comes off. You have to remove all of the outer torx head screws then unclip the clips while carefully pulling the trim away. Not hard just takes a little patience.
If you're trying to put the original trim on the performance grill it...
I removed mine in my 2019 xlt to run wires for my dash cam. It basically just pops out. I started in the rear and worked towards the windshield. The power connector comes through where I circled and has almost no slack at all. It was a while ago but I think you pinch the sides to release it...
I bought the valvomax, it has a spring loaded ball and additional cap. Definitely an extra point of failure but it seems solid and well made. My friend has had his fomoto valve for years without issue.
I have a question about the ford performance grill that wasn't worth posting alone. Is the outer bezel interchangeable with the oem xlt grill? I have the chrome package and want to keep the shiny parts.
Sorry to hijack your thread.
Drop cloths are cheap and knocking on a door is free. If it's more than a 20 minute wipe down I'd bring my car to a pro detailer and have them do it and tell the paint company to cover the cost. If they refuse, small claims it is. My time is valuable and I don't waste it on the negligence of others.
My Ranger does not have factory nav so I bought the Motorola wireless android auto adapter. Works very well and fairly seamless. Sync 3 and android auto don't really mesh well with different audio sources, but maps hasn't caused me ant issues.
That's pretty close to me. I'll buy you some fried clams if I can check out the Ranger Raptor, definitely out of my range.
I've heard good things about Sarat Ford. My local ford said to call them when i asked about the tune. Waiting on tax returns to make that call.
Eco mode would probably work for this. Plus i think they're adjustable. It's definitely not a 1 to 1 adjustment. City mode seems to spool up faster then even out. I bought mine used for half retail and think it's worth that, full retail costs half if what a tune does, I'd probably just do that.
I think I get better gas mileage in sport mode, granted I dont track it much. I average 18-19 running only 93 with typical new England town driving. Sport mode seems to stay in the 19-20 range.
I don't really care. I considered the hybrid maverick for a moment but just couldn't do it. I wanted...
I was just reading about the load lifter 5000. They make one for the ranger and it looks very easy to install. I've never seen or used a bag/leafspring combo but it seems like a good idea.
Free in western Massachusetts. From a 2019 that had a tonneau cover installed. I will update with pics this upcoming week. Currently stored 12' high at work. In great shape, I did linex when I bought the truck
I could do without all those features except the self adjusting rear view mirror. Never had one before my ranger and now I can't live without it. If you're light sensitive at all it's a must have. Personally i think the self locking tailgate is annoying, but I usually keep the bed empty.
I just put 303 on my soft folding cover yesterday and it made a big difference. I just bought my 2019 xlt so I'm betting it was never protected before.
