I was talking earlier this morning with the owner of the dealership I use to do business with back in MA. He was asking me if I still wanted to transfer my Bronco order to him in hopes of getting it sooner. I told him the excitement has pretty much worn off but I was really more interested in either a PHEV or Raptor Ranger. Seeing as there's no definite release date for the PHEV I asked about the Raptor. He said he hasn't heard anything new from Ford except the Raptor will be built on the release of the 6G and he should know more in the next couple months.

Seeing as no one has yet approached him on it I'm now #1 on the list to get one. They have 3 dealerships and sell a lot of Rangers so he said they will definitely be getting a couple of them. The only reason I didn't go through him for my Bronco order was that Granger was offering invoice pricing plus and additional $2,000 off for the month on October. Back them (10/14/20) Ford was "supposed" to built them according to your timestamp and I never thought this mess would've happened. So now the wait begins again but being first on the list I doubt it'll be 3+ years like the Bronco. Best of all it'll be at MSRP with no crazy markups.

I hope you get it. I wouldn't be surprised if they do the Raptor as they did the Bronco orders.
Any idea what a 6G Ranger Raptor will go for in the US?
Thanks! I've learned from the Bronco experience fiasco not to hold my breathe or get to excited. Even if it's an allocation system there should be a good chance at getting one being first on the list. They do huge volume there as they're one of the largest dealers in that area with 3 dealerships.

Price wise I have no idea and he looked in his Ford dealers account and there's nothing yet either.

I’d be more than happy to fly into Springfield to pick it up and drive it to your place. ?

Of course, it will have about 3,500 miles on it when you get it.

Oh, I know it’s only 2,500 miles to Goodyear - I‘ll be taking the scenic route through Colorado and Utah. ?

Congratulations. I will be waiting for pictures with bated breath… unless of course you’re going to swing through Tennessee to let me see it in person ?

That might be a possibility. My friend just moved out there a couple months ago and depending on how all this goes we might stop there. Also one of Annies friends has lived in Dandridge, TN and has been bugging us to come out and stay with her too.

Well that’s just awesome! I actually live about 25 minutes from Dandridge. It’s a really nice little town on the lake. The wife and I have talked about moving there…if it just weren’t so damn expensive.

Well when it is ready to pickup and you’ll be coming back to Masshole be sure to holler over here. I’ll be your chauffeur until you pick it up. Hell you can even stay at my house. We can get some fried clams or lobsta’s

When it's time, will you get to choose colors or any package accessories, or will you have to take whatever shows up?

I looked into the houses there and you're right they're expensive! :surprised: Her friend was lucky as she bought there 5 years ago so she's seen a nice appreciation on her house. We have always wanted to check out TN for a possible place to relocate to so there's a very good chance we'll be stopping there if all this pans out. The biggest thing will be the price because right now no one knows what they're going to cost. I really want a PHEV Ranger but if they're going to be several more years the Raptor will be a place holder until then

I'll get to order whatever I want once the order banks open. He went on his dealer portal to see if there was any new info out yet but still nothing.

I hope it works out. Honestly, but from what my dealer explained to me 2 weeks ago was that we probably won’t see any here that are not “hugely” marked up. That seems to be be Ford’s motto anymore….it will be a Bronco fiasco again. Ford is great at marketing, but can’t deliver…..
