Was reviewing the owners manual. (Hey, until I get my truck it's all I got.) Noticed the engine has two drive belts. No real point other than to say that it's been many years and many vehicles since I've dealt with anything more than one serpentine belt. Didn't expect to see that.

Two belts - one's reserved for the damper!

So how's your order going? Waiting really sucked but all that longing goes away the moment you sit in it. Still, it was hard to wait ... =(

remember the old days when there were 3 or 4 belts on the front of the engine? the hearse has 3- 1 for the smog/AC 1 for water pump/power steering 1 for water pump/alternator. I have it down to 10 minutes to change all 3 on the side of the road in the rain because that's when they pop. YAY GM!

Ford is still saying "week of February 6th." But they're not sucking me in. I figure on about January 30th I'll get an update. With a mid-March date. Then another update in March with a late April date.... and so on and so on.

Modern world. But it's ok. I'm still really excited. Delay(s) isn't going to change that.

But those delays can have a detrimental impact on your future. I was hoping to retire in 10 years but all the mods I had time to learn about WHILE waiting ...

Hey, if that lady can sue over instant mac & cheese taking too long to cook, I may have a cash cow coming in soon!

The Ranger is worth the wait. Even with blend door, hood misalignments, bad leafs, thin paint, weirx gremlins of the truck just being dead then back to life, its still a good truck. And all of these problems unfortunately.....is all manufacturers.

And yes, it has two belts. More trucks being done that way for the new 1234 ac systems. You cut the belt for the ac then use a belt tool to put the new one on. No adjustments

Mac & Cheese lady is in Florida.

If you haven't seen it, it'll probably make your blood boil (faster than making the mac & cheese).

I can't believe people can create lawsuits like this. It sucks because you have to defend against them.

We won't get into the whole "@AzScorpion-made-me-buy-it" class action suit ....

Copied from the actual class action lawsuit filed November 18, 2022:

2. The statement of “ready in 3½ minutes” is false and misleading because the Product
takes longer than 3-and-a-half minutes to prepare for consumption.

and further continues:

15. As a result of the false and misleading representations, the Product is sold at a
premium price, approximately no less than $10.99 for eight 2.39 oz cups, excluding tax and sales,
higher than similar products, represented in a non-misleading way, and higher than it would be
sold for absent the misleading representations and omissions.

I guess the only good that comes from this is now Kate knows I'm pulling out all the stops on our romantic dinners with only the premium stuff for her!
