I didn't technically get anything per se, but I did go visit the tint guy for a quote on PPF and tint ?. The plan is to drive it straight there from the sales lot when it arrives.

Just in time for winter and frozen windshields—now to find a day above 40 to install it. PLUS ... I got my reflective tape, Soupie will look like an official dump truck once I put this hideous lime and red tape on the front and rear bumpers, probably wait until spring and warmer temps.

Keep it up, you're gonna fit right in with the rest of the snow birds.

Lol, I would have mailed you mine for like $20.

You don't use the ford app I'm guessing?

Ohh, no. That at least has a use.

I'm talking about something like this.

CityBumper - Premium Quality Rear Bumper Guard, All Weather Bumper Protection, Extra Wide Bumper Protector ! https://a.co/d/ejVEguD

The things the senial new Yorkers slap on the backs of their cars because they can't see thinking it'll protect the car when they back into something.

LOL and bummer. My Ford App pass falls asleep sometimes (not as often now that I regularly use the CTEK battery tender). And ... most of the time I don't have Location turned on in my phone (I figure that they still track me, even with that setting turned off). By the time I think of it, turn on my location, wait for the app to load (probably takes a minute on my 5-year old Motorola), I'm just about out the door. Since I perceive this as a bit of a hassle, I often don't try.

So, a key fob start would probably have the truck running two minutes sooner. Plus, leaving Lowe's or a grocery store, I'd likely start the truck while walking to it and that's easier via key fob than fumbling with my phone.

Now whether I actually do use it more, only time will tell. And I often leave the house without my phone (no one needs to interrupt the nirvana of my short, but cherished, dump runs). =D

Thanks for the generous offer and maybe someone will see this and take you up on it! Out of curiosity, why don't you use yours?

That's a hell of a bumper! Looks like someone pulled too close to a plastic cart corral and got snagged. =)

Now hold on, there is great potential to be had here.

I'm thinking snow tire spike stud installation.

I agree with @OFC Ranger with the exception it will also need a quick release mechanism to allow it to be dropped as needed... You know, in case it gets snagged on something... Most Def not to drop and flatten some boomer in a beamer who is tailgatings tire....

I think this bumper thing presents a great opportunity to the right person - this can double as a traction board!
