Yep, very happy with my Ranger too. 36 month warranty expired Oct 30. Only issues were a dead battery and blend door noise behind glove box. Ran great on a road trip from California to Alaska towing a small travel trailer.
Happy 3 Year Birthday to your Ranger, James!!!:party::party::turkey::turkey::turkey:

More and more 5G Rangers are nearing the end of their bumper-to-bumper warranties. What is everyone’s take on extended warranties for this truck? I have a friend considering one as he is wanting to keep his Ranger for at least five years and possibly longer.

Hey Carl,

I think they are fairly priced. It came down to a few things for me: how many kilometres am I putting on each year, how long do I want to keep it, how do I drive it, and how much peace of mind do I want.

I’m only putting on 12,000-13,000 kms per year, plan on keeping it for three more years, don’t drive the hell out of it, but I like the peace of mind of not having to worry about paying for a new tranny, turbo, blend door, or PCM if something goes wrong. I simply bought enough extra to cover my situation - basically doubled the standard warranty.
