I would've preferred C, but not available in my preferred size.

you can sometimes get them with 285s but it depends on the brand. i was looking at falken wilpeaks or cooper st maxx but st maxx no mater what size is only a e load which overall is fine but why not try something softer haha

In the wider widths you get some choice.

But I couldn't find anybody that made a C-rated 255/80 17.

With that much sidewall I don't mind the E-rated, but would 've liked to go a bit softer. Maybe next time, although I got a line on some low mileage copies of my Toyo AT3s so I might stay skinny a bit.

Time will tell.

I believe so.

I don't get too nutty in my Ranger. Something about that monthly payment keeps me mostly on the tame stuff.
