After a bit of digging up and help from forum members, it’s evident that the Bronco’s 2.7L V6 engine is prone to valve failure. A member—whose account has been sadly deleted—claims the issue is due to the valves used in the 2.7-liter V-6, supplied by an outside vendor to Ford's Lima plant.

I read the stems were brittle and breaking off dropping the valve , some with less than 10 miles ! Not sure if it's really true though ?...

They were supposed to have fixed this well over a year ago. There's a huge thread on it here on B6G with 65 dead 2.7's to date. Then there's the fuel pump issue where going up a steep incline and down a steep decline is killing the pumps. Some have said they had 3/4 tank full so it's not an issue with low fuel.

Not sure why other manufactures aren't having these same issues but it seems like Ford can't find good suppliers and/or is cheeping out on the ones they're using. As much as I want my Bronco I'm almost glad I don't have it yet.
