Hi,

First off I've been a lurker and I was rather hesitant to want to fully join up. Honestly some of it has to do with forums having those who think they know their vehicle better than the engineers to made it real. But I decided just in case I do need to ask some questions its better to join up this way. I have a 21' STX Special Edition in Race Red, I've owned it for almost a year and done a fair amount of work to it. Mud Guards which I had the dealer throw on last month when in for service, the rest of this I have done myself as my Ranger has a ''Raptor'' inspired them to it. Raptor Font Decals for the Box that say RANGER, Raptor center caps, I'm currently working out to make a Raptor Style Steering Wheel which will be the last bit of work I do to it. I have LED Amber Fog Lights, Bed Tray, Tailgate Cover/Liner, Tonneau Cover, Cargo Net as this truck is put to work being the family workhorse. Under the Hood is where I'm really sort of proud, aside getting an Engine Cover just after buying it, I've done my usuals which is the K&N Drop in, I grabbed an AFE Intake Snorkel/Scoop. I did buy a Velossatech Big Mouth Intake, while the biggest and most unique was I fitted a Diesel Ranger Upper Radiator Shield on, IE the Bi-Turbo and new 3.2L Diesel Radiator Shield. I will let the pics do the talking about my Ranger but I'm pleased with how it's come out. I don't know yet if I'm going to work on the rear lighting aspects, such as LED's which is another staple for me. Time will tell what I want to do with it as I'm also picky about the type of LED bulbs I use.

Grew up mainly in the Ford family, most of what I have owned has been Ford. Outside of Ford probably the second best I've owned has been Jeep. I had a special 2WD Liberty that was built to be sold for Military Over Seas Bases. I found out when I worked for Chrysler it did a ''tour of duty'' in Germany and I think I still have the service records copies somewhere.

Second Jeep was a Grand Cherokee, I put A LOT of work into with my own two hands, only thing I didn't do was the suspension. I was glad I had APPCAR Diag which is FCA/Stellantis Programming Software so I had in town probably the most unique WK2 Grand Cherokee, as I programmed in Amber Rear Turns. Which is often a common mod with some owners.

I will say this I will never own a new Toyota again. I've never seen such putting it politely, being so uptight that their product doesn't break on its own or that they may have screwed up at the assembly plant. Since pretty much all Toyotas are now assembled in the US and not Japan. This was the only vehicle I got rid of before the factory warranty was up, since Toyota refused to say that my windshield crack was a factory issue. (It was, I had a suspicion the winter before it cracked it wasn't installed properly and driving to LA there was a lot of ''wind noise'' from the bottom)

I've driven my share of Rangers, never owned one till now. I never actually considered it until the wife started griping that the Grand Cherokee was too small. She wanted a new Grand Cherokee L until I showed her the price and told her no. I told her it's truck or nothing and we could get by with a Mid-Sized. Its what we could afford. Only three of us in the place, us and our Daughter who is 4. Just before I went on vacation this showed up, it was a little further than what I wanted to travel to buy but I got it.

I've been working out a lot on information of the T6 Ranger (Global and the US ''Counterfeit" as I call our vehicles. Its an old joke referring to the ''One Ford Policy'' ask me sometime later about it) and it's siblings the Everest and Bronco. Think of me as one of those guys that will often self ask the question ''Will it work?'' or ''Am I really considering trying this idea?''. I rarely ever fail in my trials. So far it seems that the US ''Counterfeit'' has a lot more in common with the Global Ranger and probably something Ford probably doesn't want owners to know or hear about.

My 05 f150 started having to many issues coming up ( roller follower needle bearings, timing system was due to be replaced along with the cats going out) and after 245k I figured it was time. Found this beauty sitting at the dealer and they excepted the x plan, so I snagged it while I could. And glad I did 2 others tried to buy it while we were doing the paper work. Thought I was going to miss my f150 but that lasted like a day these are great trucks and seem to have the same capabilities as my old F150.

Hello gang. I purchased my new 2022 Ranger Tremor sight unseen (photos only) from a dealer in CA on 9-1-2022. I wanted it shipped to my home here in South Dakota. The transport truck picked it up early evening on 9-7-22 and they delivered it to my home this morning, 9-9-2022.

It replaced my 18 year old F150. There's going to be a bit of a learning curve to figure out all the new technology!

I am hoping the new Ranger is as good as the old girl she replaced.

Hi! I'm Justin, and I ordered my Ranger mainly for its towing capacity. I had been very much overtaxing my wife's MKX moving our boat around (only twice a year, and it did it fine; plenty of power; it just didn't like doing it and neither did I), and this just looked like a nice truck. Plus my old Patriot is showing its age (we decided to keep it as a spare...not a whole lot of trade-in value there, and it doesn't hurt to have an extra car around that's been pretty reliable over the years). I had considered a well-rated competing domestic midsize, but had had a somewhat less-than-stellar experience with one of their recalled cars in the recent past (i.e. warnings not to park it within 50 feet of anything I didn't want to go on fire, not to fully charge it, not to fully discharge it...kind of read like the "happy fun ball" warning list), and I didn't particularly care for the face-lift the competition's front-end received this year. My wife's Lincoln, on the other hand, has never disappointed us in any way (including my vastly exceeding its towing capacity a couple times a year), so Ford won out on this one.
I ordered the Ranger in February, and just took delivery last night. It's an XLT SuperCab in Race Red with the Chrome package, Towing package, and the 302A group. The SuperCab's back seats are kind of tight, but I think for me the bigger bed is more useful, and I like the truck's lines better with the smaller cab. Most of the time, I wouldn't need to accommodate rear-seat passengers anyway, and if we do for any trip longer than around town, that's what the Lincoln is for.
I've been reading many different threads on this forum for a while, and figured since I had the truck now it was time to join.
So far I'm happy with the Ranger. I'm looking forward to a bunch of good years with the Ranger. The information on this site is very valuable and helpful; it's a great resource.
