Steroids can wreak havoc on your system and mind that's for sure. I had to take a long dose of prednisone some years ago for my asthma and it made me super irritable. Annie would just looks at me, laugh and shake her head then walk away. Like you I fought myself from not continuing my rage knowing she was right and I (the meds) was being an ass. lol
We should all pitch in and get him a stress ball and a punching bag to take the roid rage out on lol his wife would probably be very grateful

Well he should've just stayed in the hospital a few more days like he was supposed to. Mary was having a blast at the party and I think she'd be a little more forgiving now too. ? ??

Yesterday, I left my meds schedule down in my office and wanted to figure out when I would be able to get off all the different meds, but waited till this morning as I didn’t want to do exactly what was in your gif.

Mary followed me into my office when I said,”I need to check when I can start getting off the drugs”.

The first on the list was Tramadol and it said I could start tapering after 7 days (I already am more than half on those). Then we found the Prednisone and it said 30 days to start of taper. I just stood there stunned. :0

That will be the first thing I bring up at my first follow up visit. That stuff is really terrible. Although I will say, even with the walker, I feel like going up to the storage room and benching some big plates. Call me Ahhnold! ;)

It is going good Paul, thanks for asking.

I am semi ambulatory with the walker, like 20 mins up, 2 hours down. I have overdone It (multiple times :() and get reminded pretty quickly it wasn’t a wisdom tooth I had out, but honestly, way beyond my wildest expectations.

I think the biggest issue I have had (it took me a while to figure it out) is all the meds they give you. Between the Tramadol and the mega steroids, I swap between euphoria and ‘roid rage on the flip of a switch.

I got into an argument (pretty loud on my side) with my wife last night and she just started laughing. Which of course made me madder. She finally said, “honey, it’s the Steroids!” Of course I knew she was right instantly, as I fought to keep myself in my mental straight jacket. ;)
Good report!
Godspeed and sending up prayers for a successful recovery without complications... ?

I know for a certainty, that is what Mary would have preferred. She was quite the party girl in her time. ;)

Yes, being a skeptic by nature, I am always waiting for the other shoe to drop. I really appreciate the thought and prayers.

I'll bring the beer funnel. Mary was quite upset she didn't get her turn. :giggle:
Back in my frat days we had a hose at our house rigged up to the second floor balcony and we used it as a funnel, many a time during my pledging would I go up to it and have straight liquor poured down it instead of beer, that will wake you up lol. I'll bring the foam machine we can go full send with it

The women understand us when on steroids because for them it is, shall we say, no not going there. :lipssealed:
It has been a while for Mary on that score, she is downright mellow these days all 31 days, except of course when she puts her coaches cap on and starts barking orders at me about get that ice pack on your hip, get up, time for your laps with the walker, etc, etc. etc.
