Put tailgate dampener's on the trucks. What a difference! Easy install...

I should also point out that this is the cheapest single upgrade that gives the greatest improvement of any mod I have ever performed on a truck! for 25 bucks... cant beat it. I use my bed a lot, though. Its my mobile work bench.
I use mine all the time for work and it's very handy. Welcome to the club! ?

Took my Ranger to the Body shop to get the paint and ding fixed by Ford...that happened during shipping or on the Plant lot in Mi.

May take up to two weeks is what the body shop said but the dealersip gave me a loaner so they're also taking care of me with that.

While at the dealership, asked about the FordPass points and they do take them so I'm getting the Premium XLP for $579 which with the points will be 359 so looking at $416 with tax. Talked to the guy and they're not going to charge me to put it on. I'll swing buy and ordered it one day this week so it'll be there waiting when the Body Shop drops them the truck back off.

Even better buddy said he has a case of 303 UV spray and 303 Tonneau Cover spray he got from a vendor and he's gonna give me a bottle of each :like:

Rotated the tires.
My system with two small floor jacks:
Jack up LF and LR. Swap tires, put only 3 bolts on LR. Let down jacks.
Jack up RF and RR. Put RR on RF, do not put the front tire on the rear but roll it around to the LR.
Let down RF, carry jack to LR.
Jack up LR again, remove wheel. This is why I only put 3 bolts on. Put RF on LR.
Put the tire that was on the LR on the RR.
It’s not as complicated as it sounds. Of course I put Armor All on the back sidewalls while the tires are off. ?

Installed the raptor grille tonight. Taking out the old one was a pain in the ass to say the least but only managed to crack one clip lol

Loving the new look but I’ll be getting my tremor nostrils wrapped back in red again soon!

The curse of custom fabrication strikes again. As usual it takes about three revisions of an idea for me to finally arrive at something that looks like it's going to turn out acceptable.

I did not even make it through the completion of the 2nd revision before I decided to move on to the 3rd.

And the upgrades start to come together...

Old vs. New Design.

It is 3/4 particle board that I coat in a woodfiller/water mix, then sand, prime, and herculined. Pretty rock solid. Photos make it seem like there is some discoloration, but the finish has come out pristine. I'll be capping all the exposed joints and edges with angled aluminum which will also be herculined.

Having it towed to the dealer! Went out to start truck and battery is stone dead nothing. Have an appointment for tomorrow morning. Still a couple months on the warranty yet. We'll see how it goes.

Hopefully its just a dead battery and you're covered under warranty. Just in time if it is. :whew:
