That's about the same prices here in the US. You guys have to pay cash as well, right? I remember growing up in PI where there are no bank loans, everything had to be in cash.

No they have loans available. But I did pay cash for both vehicles. Being retired don't need any payments outside of the necessary like rent, utilities etc.

I grew up in the Northern Central Luzon, right smack in the middle of Luzon, in the boondocks. I never saw and swim in the pacific ocean till My father came and brought me here in Cali.

Yes, I am bit half breed though. My wife had families in Cavite and I had mine the Nueva Vizcaya province of Central Luzon. What part of PI are you at?

I am in Santa Rosa Laguna. Obviously married to a filipina. Been 16 years now. ?? In fact today's her birthday.

Maligayang Kaarawan to her. Laguna area is nice, specifically if you are close to the oceans. I'm starting to saved up for a nice property closer to the Ocean with a nice beach front.
