Since gas prices are kind of high, I have been trying to get better mileage. I have never had estimate over 400miles in almost 35,000 miles after buying my Ranger and nothing over 360 miles since getting the camper put on.

3 things I have done:
1. limit speed to 65MPH- and i still pass other cars
2. turn on AS/S at lights and stops I know will be a while
3. start driving like a grandpa- no more power breaking at red lights

After doing math, it is almost spot on. my calcs would be 422 miles per tank

I'm curious what others are getting after fill-ups so please share with pictures for proof. As always, winner gets free damper removal

Since 99% of my driving is short trips less than 20 minutes, I rarely see an estimate much over 300 miles.

I believe the computer computes your projected mileage on the mileage that you got on the last fill up. If I pull my boat and then fill up the projected mileage will be less. If you have not tuned your MPG readout then nothing is accurate.

as I am on 35's and havent recalibrated the speedo my estimates are way off but hand calculating i can usually squeeze out 340 to 350 miles but I drive somewhat spirited and mostly on the highway usually sitting right at 74mph when cruising as the ranger really doesn't like 65 or over

I'm not a mileage nazi.
me neither until it cost $85 to fill the tank. finally went down to $4.46 saw that HAD to fill

The display shows overall MPG at 24.5, but I calculated it closer to 22 - 23 on various fill ups.
about the same as mine but hand calculated at little over 23 MPG

*disclaimer* I'm just going off this last fill-up

Not an estimate from after fill up, but an estimate after a "bit" of driving. Was on track to get over 500 miles on this tank before I had to fill up.

This was one of the first road trips we took with it years ago. I've been chasing this mileage and range ever since.

I should add I've been using Costco 87 octane for the last ~5000 miles. 93 probably could get a lot more but cost/performance not worth it to me

@the1mrb what kind of gas and driving was that?

Normal 87 octane, that's all I ever use. I buy from various stations/brands, so I'm not sure where specifically on that tank, not that I've found that it matters that much anyways.
Mix of city and highway, but mostly anywhere between 45-65mph on rural 2-lane roads, with some steep up and down hills and sharp curves.
And I'll add that my normal driving style is pretty eco friendly. I don't say I hypermile per se, but it's in that vein.

Mine usually shows 430 on my screen after a fill up. Only use Shell Premium 93 octane.
This is usually my average 420-430 using 91 octane. But for some reason on our trip I was getting crazy good gas mileage and when I filled up in St George, UT mine showed 461. It was mostly all highway driving and averaging 80 mph.
