I have a 2020 FX4 SCREW with the stock Hankook Dynapro ATMs 265/65r/17. The door panel sticker recommends 30 psi front and rear, and the sidewalls say MAX is 50 psi. I'll be towing my new-to-me TT about 2000 miles across the Texas and New Mexico heat in a couple weeks. (~4000 lbs loaded, I also use a sway bar and WDH). I haven't found in the owner's manual or Hankook site any recommended towing pressures, but 30psi seems low for a load, I know there are a gajillion posts about tire pressures, but I thought I'd take a quick poll from those willing to respond, what pressures would you run with this set up? Appreciate your input!

As most here know, I tow a travel trailer, 6500 lbs, 700 lb tongue weight. Running truck alone, I run 32 psi. When towing I experimented with different psi in the front and rear, and I now run 45 psi in the rears and 36-38 in the front.
Being your trailer is much lighter than mine, I would recommend 40 psi for the rears and 35 for the fronts, as a starting psi, and you can easily change as necessary. You just have to find out what is best for your rig and the way it handles...every combo is going to be different, and you just have to experiment a bit to find the right "sweet spot".
Your just playing with air pressure, and it doesn't cost anything to change it as much as you want.

Hi Reagon,

This is where the owner manual is your friend. there is a copy on these forums. Read about towing before you tow.

Best,
Phil

I settled on about 40psi F/R pulling something that weighs a smidge less than @Grumpaw. I might adjust that in the future, but at the moment that's what I'm liking.

32psi on my door sticker.

You want facts to make a decision. When you are loaded for a trip go to a truck stop with a scale and get the weight on the trailer tires, the front truck tires, and the rear tires on the truck. Then get a tire pressure chart of the tires that you have. Adjust as needed. Write it down and put in the junk (glove) box.

A good indicator of what the tire load is using the chalk test. You will know in a very short amount of time if you’re at the proper pressure or not.

Like Grumpaw I tow a travel trailer at 5,500 lbs I up the rear tires to 37psi, and the fronts to 35 psi.

Truck alone, I run 32 ish in the summer and 30 ish in the cold new england winter.

Reagon, as you can see, everyone has either an opinion, or knowledge gained from their own towing rig, and that is based on THEIR rig, weight, tongue weight, how the truck and trailer is loaded, ect, ect.
Every one of us who tows a larger trailer has their own preference, and no two will be the same.
Your trailer will be well within the towing ability of the Ranger, and I'm guessing the tongue weight will be somewhere around 450-500 lbs, again, well within the Rangers ability.
My rear psi, at 45 may seem a bit high, but my tongue weight is right at 700 lbs. If it were around the 450-500 lb I would start at around 38-40 for the rears, 35-36 for the fronts, and use those as a gauge/starting point. It may take several try's to find what is best for your rig.
As I posted, air is free, so just try different psi till you find whats best for your set up.
