Class 3 weapons are available to the "general public"...
IF....it is legal in your state.
IF....it is transferrable.
IF...you can pass a background check.
IF....you can find one for sale.
And IF you can afford it.
A pre-ban M-16 select fire will cost ya about $20-$25,000. The last one I saw on Gunbroker a couple years ago was $20,000. Even a simple transferrable Lightning link will run you $15-$20,000. There is an Uzi on there now for $29,999.

are we really going to split hairs. all those that want to please feel free to go purchase a machine gun. be sure to come back and post pics and videos for us. ill admit my statement was worded poorly and not 100 % correct. however, i still stick to it even though flawed. any member of the forum that goes out and buys a civ legal machine gun that is not part of a govt agency, law enforcement or atf ffl i will buy a box of donuts . the 86 and older civ owned guns are not plentiful. as mentioned are not cheap. they also are not at any big box retail sporting goods place or the majority of gun stores. if one has the means and determination they better be patient. it is not the simple quick breeze through form and phone call while you lean on the glass counter. id say the numbers vs. price and ATF Form 4 is keeping my donut money pretty safe.

My mom said that about my dad when he retired. He use to work so many hours that once he retired he was always bugging her now. She said she might have to go to work now just to get some peace and quiet. ?

Doesn't look like anything major was taken away from us. Some stuff was long overdue to be added back like the funding for mental health issues and while I hate giving anything up I do agree with the expansion of background checks into buyers under 21 years of age. What I don't like are these Red Flag Laws as they can become a slippery slope when en ex is mad at you and then it's a "He said She said" argument while you're guns are taken away.

It's kind of long to post it all but it's all laid out here.
