Dealership just called and said it came in last night.
They're going to do the PDI and everything today and call me back to let me know how it goes and I could come in this evening and pick it up.
Told him let me come in tomorrow morning to do a test drive.
One more day guys....?

Sent him a text this morning to make the stickers don't get put on and also set the tire pressure and make sure he gives the truck a good going over.
He text'd me back and said he'd have it ready for me
Sucks there is a chance of rain tomorrow...

Got to sit in it today and all the paperwork done. It was pouring rain this morning and the truck had mud running off of it so didn't take it for a ride. Looks like it sat so long in that parking lot it must have had a 1/4 inch of dust on it. Told them I better not see any swirl marks in the black. Was told they all are coming in filthy lately. Prep and brake controller install tomorrow. Couldn't believe the controller install was only 100 bucks. Didn't get much off the extended warranty but got zero deductible and leds thrown in plus some off MSRP so I bought it from them. Pick up Saturday morning. Exactly 6 months from the day the dealer ordered it. It was sitting in front of a lightning that came on the same truck and that lightning is ugly and boxy.

Too much. Mine is the 96 month 48,000 miles with zero deductible that covers key fobs and led lighting Ford Protect top level plan. It's a little under $1900.00. I drive the truck less then 5k a year so perfect for my needs and hopefully I will out live it.. One thing I found out is insurance cost on the Lariat with all the safety features is very low. Just things like adaptive cruise offer extra discounts so be sure to declare them all.

Hi, I’m currently scheduled for production the week of June 20th. I called the other day and they said I’m scheduled to be built on the 22nd. My question to y’all is when did your window stickers show in the tracker? Mine isn’t there yet and I thought it showed up leading up to the production week. Supercab xl stx

Yay! Think I got some good news today. (Still have all my fingers and toes crossed though.) The Tracking App went to 'In Transit' this morning. Checked again this afternoon and it says 'Delivered'. So I checked the Ford website and it shows 'Shipped' as the status.

2 months with no updates or status change and then... boom... it appears to be on the move. Maybe, just maybe, I might see it in a few days.

Called Ford today, 8 weeks “In Production” they said my Ranger is being built by one of their old, retired works, who only works every other Tuesday for 1 hour per day so my truck should be built in 2024, with no problems.

Now you show me that. I probably paid to much. I was told if I sell it in 3 years I can just walk into the dealership and get a refund of a good deal of it so went for my worst case. With the shortage of loaners and time it can take to get parts the rental coverage makes it worth it alone.
