This thread is very quickly filling with a lot of hate. If you're unhappy then cancel your order and move on. Stop the whining and complaining.
Most of the manufacturers are experiencing issues. Go custom order your overpriced and underpowered tacopro and see how long it takes. Please feel free to go custom order your Lego blockish frontier pro 4X with crispy plastic interior. Please feel free to go order your Chevy, it's the next best option.
I suspect you will have to wait quite a while.

This thread should be a light hearted support for those waiting and congratulations to those who get theirs. Not a Ford bashing "want some cheese with your whine " thread.
I think people are frustrated with the lying on delivery dates. If that’s whining then so be it. I take it you got yours?

Sure haven't. Ordered 10 weeks ago and Haven't even received a vin #, also had my led's cancelled, so you can have your assumption back. And yes it is whining/complaining. Anyone that takes the build date, or the delivery date as hard and fast and gets their underwear in a wad needs to grow up. Everything is screwed up right now. Shipping, parts, staffing it's all in a flux. Anyone that thinks they could do better, I want to see your fortune 500 management credentials and I will give you credit, otherwise I'll say it like I tell my 5 year old, life isn't fair quit complaining.

Again, just cancel the order and buy something on the lot. If you really want to try to voice your displeasure that is the best way to do it. Feel free to also buy some shares and go to a shareholder meeting. Otherwise, like I said, quit whining about delays and let's keep this thread up beat.

Any moderators, maybe we can create a cheese and whine thread for everyone who wants to just sulk, complain, and wallow in their misery of yet another delay.

That was me who said Ford is run by morons and if you would like to say something directly to me go right ahead. Won't hurt my feelings one bit. This the internet. We're supposed to have differences.

To add to this, if this is your biggest issue in your life right now, you have a great life. It’s a first world problem

I am specifically not naming anyone. I don't want to start anything with a specific person. Just call attention to the fact that more and more posts in this thread seem to be more and more negative. I think we should step back and tone it down or take it somewhere else. Anyone is free to disagree with me like you mentioned as well.

I think it's frustration, the longer people wait, the more frustrated they get. Add to that the constant run around from Ford customer service and then the dealers. The bs that Ford tells people is just ridiculous. My order was built but on a hold and not one person could tell me what the hold was. Like the truck was just parked out in the lot and there was no paper trail on why it was on hold. That to me is just unacceptable. Then Ford chat will say, we have no information and to call your dealer because they have more information. Then you call the dealer and they say, I don't know why Ford tells people that because we have no more info than the emails you get sent. Like WTF, really? This is the kind of operation you run at Ford?!

I am amazed by people on here that call sharing true facts and emotions wining. I also am surprised Ford doesn't have a presence on here to look into issues buyers are encountering. I just got in line for a Ranger because I have had great experiences with buying Ford products in the past. Always received accurate accurate information and updates on special orders. I also wanted the towing capacity. Other companies actually do keep schedules during these times and don't make excuses.
I ordered a new Subaru Forester Touring for my wife for her Birthday. I placed the order the first week of Jan. Was told 3 months + - 2 weeks delivery from Japan when the order went in. 10 weeks later I got the call to pick it up. Was early for her birthday but she loves it. I asked how they did it and was told everything including shipping to the dealer and production breaks due to shortages is taken care of when the order is placed. I have never bought such a quality vehicle before and now have friends ordering them after showing the quality and sharing the experience.
A company can easily destroy a reputation by not being honest with customers and the winers are the ones trying to justify bad experiences that they haven't had to live with.

Glad your Subaru experience went well. Too bad they don't make trucks. Wish they still made the brat, that was a fun little vehicle, and I agree every Subaru I have driven has been top notch feeling. If your Subaru was made in Japan they may be dealing with less issues than here in the states. We have a culmination of a lot of different festering issues that have effected manufacturing and shipping. When people are just stating facts, or frustrations of yet another delay, thats what the thread is for! We can then share the empathy of all of us who are choosing to wait because we feel it is still our preferred choice. The pissing and moaning about ford's horrible no good management and shoddy handling of the situation etc etc is whining and complaining. Unless one of those people is working at Ford and can legitimately show proof of their mismanagement then it is just whining and complaining. I am willing to be wrong though so I'll stop and anyone is free to voice about why they disagree without any further reply on the subject from me.

You don't get it. What Subaru did was schedule the production, ship, port work, and the final trucking up front when the order was accepted to ensure a stress free experience for the customer.
What Ford has done is just schedule builds and parking lots for random Rangers with no thought about an accurate delivery date. There are no missing parts according to the tracker to blame on the pandemic. They give dates but when questioned about an accurate date just blow you off with it's up to the truckers and it will happen when they get around to it. We all know diesel cost affects trucking and trying to ignore it will affect who will move your loads. My Lariat is a 50k out the door truck that is really only worth about 40k so there seems to be room for fuel surcharges. I expected a better customer experience from Ford. My dealer is also frustrated by Ford reps just blowing dates off with no concern for customers that they have been dealing with for years. I just hate seeing companies destroying their reputation for something that honest would prevent. If it's going to take 6 months worst case to move a vehicle from a parking lot to a dealer, say 6 months up front and customers can plan for it. Don't say 2 weeks and then just move it up another week every week. As I said I plan on taking my cash and moving on if the date is slipped again. Sad to have to say this about a company I have been doing business with over 40 years.

I'm at the point where I'd rather have Ford just tell me they canceled my order, and I should go buy a competitor's product.
Honestly screw this company for not keeping us up to date.
Already did today the Ranger that I ordered is all just a memory now !! tired of waiting and playing Ford's games! I have had RAM Trucks in the past and they were great so I cancelled the Ranger and bought another Ram couldn't be happier!!
