I think we all knew these weren't going to be full efficient but 15 mpg is kind of low. At todays prices this is going to be very expensive to drive but I guess if you're shelling out this much money you're not to concerned with mpg.

Beside why buy this when the F150 Raptor gets the same gas mileage as the Bronco Raptor? The F150 has 450 HP and has a larger motor but I'm not sure of the weight difference. Even more shocking is the msrp price!

oof.

cost of ownership there will be kinda high. will certainly be a test of how resilient folks are to inflation and especially increases in gas prices. historically, increases in gas prices have pushed fuel economy to higher priorities for vehicle buyers.

You're right I remember in '08 when gas spiked people were dumping their huge SUV's and Hummers for smaller cars. The dealers lots were full of these and other large trucks for a while. But as soon as the prices came down everyone went back to their old habits. This time it seems like these price increases have no end in sight.

The good thing is you can remove them easily, they're held in the quick disconnect tabs. One bonus is if you carry some Flex Seal tape you could make a small pool out of them. ?

Big tires and a vehicle that's shaped like a brick, can't say I'm surprised. I don't think it will be a deterrent for people buying though, if you're in the market for one of these, gas mileage probably isn't at the top of your list.

Not a great look for what the price of the ranger raptor will be
No it's not a good look at all. Then add in the crazy ADM's and it'll be out of reach for most, well at least us sane ones. lol

I'm figuring that a Ranger Raptor built with same options my current Ranger has will sticker at around $60-65,000. And I'm sure the mileage on it will be about the same as the Bronco. I don't see me moving to a Gen6 Ranger of any kind anytime soon.

Kent, it's really shocking seeing these prices now and some just don't care and are grabbing them up. I mean it's really not a practical vehicle and those flares are fugly. :puke: Some will get lucky and get theirs at msrp but once you add the market adjustment you're pushing $100K or darn close to it.
