I Recently lowered my ‘19 XLT with the Belltech 2”/4” lowering kit. After getting it aligned (2° Of toe out and -3° of camber) it still has -1.8° of camber, and it can’t be adjusted any more. Has anyone else done this kit and found a solution? Or if anyone else has lifted theirs a lot and ran into camber issues as well that has a solution. I’ve seen some aftermarket upper control arms that claim to have more camber adjustment, I’m just unsure about it.

Sorry haven’t got my kit yet so I don’t have any experience in it yet. With that said I did order the BellTech control arms with my kit.
What size wheels and tires are those?

You'll have to get adjustable upper control arms to fix it... I'm lowered a little almost 3" in the front and 5" in the rear, but I have Control Freaks from coilover kit installed and Belltech's Rear Flip Kit.

Belltec knows and now sells a control arm to fix the problem.

As good as it looks I do not want to lower mine like that. I got the Ranger to get away from low to the ground. (I'd still love to drop the butt 1.5 to 2 inches and leave the nose alone but it looks like it's going up a bit to remove some of the rake)

Stop telling me they have solutions to lowering problems before I return to bitching about the pot holes around here and worrying about getting stuck on some driveways, etc.

!!!!!

Well there is no 2" drop for the rear, you HAVE to flip the axle and that is 4". So a 2/4 is the highest lowering your going to get.

-1.8° is not bad. A little bit of negative camber can be highly beneficial for on road handling. Tire wear shouldn't be too bad at that point, unless you exclusively drive straight down the highway.

I'd leave it be.

I ran -2.5 up front, -1.5 rear on my old WRX. Never had a tire wear issue on even the softest of street class autoX tires.

I had almost -3 up front with tire wear issues, but I was lazy and never rotated them at all... Just replaced the fronts way more often than the rears..... Because fwd car.

Right?!

That's certainly a decent enough option for smaller/cheaper tires.

I ran Bridgestone RE01R, and Falken Azenis on that car so I was diligent about rotating.

Hi Folks,

A bit continuous, but with FWD vehicles...I have known for a long time to not rotate the tires at all. Since the front wheels see all the wear from stopping, accelerating and turning the fronts take all the abuse, so leave them and then when you need new Fronts, replace only the fronts...follow the same strategy and now at the next tire change you will need 4 tires....but you only replaced six tires instead of 8 cumulatively at the 2nd tire change... I actually got my local dealer service rep to think about this and he came to agree I was correct...

Best,
Phil

Have you found a solution to this camber problem? Just did the same kit as you and dont have the control arms from belltech yet since they are forever backordered it seems, and am sorta thinking about just canceling unless it will cause a problem. I do drive highways about 60-70% of the time for work and to drive to canyons and dont want to roast the tires too early.

Camber doesn't really excessively wear tires, especially if you keep up with tire rotations. My truck has been lowered for nearly a year. On my 3rd rotation and tires are fine.
