Ok -

Here me out here..

I love my truck, too much even possibly. I keep her so pretty, almost 2 quick washes or upkeep with dusters (outside) and quick detailers inside to keep it all looking stunning and those heads to turn when they see her coming on the road.

But….

What is the deal with those tiny black pieces in our trucks (window rollers, the padding next to the handle, door handle itself)… they look worn and are almost at a fade look .. and I have a 2021, bought in April of 2021 w/ 15,009 miles??

What the actual F … Ford? How? I keep my truck damn clean and use microfiber’s and Meguiars Quick Detail religiously… windows are super tinted to help with the sun…? What the… guys?????

Any idea what to do?

Thanks-

303 Aerospace Protectant. Use it on basically everything (no glass or touch screen) inside and it'll protect it from the UV rays.

Only thing you think works? I mean how often and how much? Only sell it online? ??

I’m super confused Meguaire’s didn’t help protect it on the inside detailer

Do other products work? Probably but I've been using the Aerospace Protectant for 12+ years and never had it fail me. When I find something that works I have no reason to switch or try others ones. I apply it ever 3-4 months and my interior still looks brand new.

I buy everything I can online (I hate dealing with stores around here) so I have no idea what stores sell it but Im sure some do. Just do a Google search and see what stores in your area sell it

Hey Dave, I was wondering…

I have this old pair of sneakers that are looking a little faded - 303?
What about the grips on my cordless tools - 303?

Also, I’m really starting to thin on top and at the back…ahhhh, never mind, I’m pretty sure the answer is 303! ?

Mack, It looks like it's sold at most auto parts stores like Autozone, Advance Auto, O'Reilly Auto and NAPA. Even Cabelas carries it so you should be able to find it locally without having to go online.

Thanks Dave .. if it’s the one up above I just posted, I see that too. Some Pep and Zones have it plus Cabellas and REI.

But wasn’t sure / as it’s coming up “marine cleaner” lol on some sites.

It's the one below. I'm not sure what the difference is with the marine but I've always used this one. You know how hot it is here and my truck sits out in the sun all day when I'm at work. No fading, discoloring or cracking at all and I also do the top plastic on the bed rails with it along with my tonneau cover.

Ok thanks … it’s weird this thing called “google” lol.. I get a lot of the marine one, and then a much darker bottle, blue color, really for autozone and like nappa.

I remember asking the chemist over at Gold Eagle about this and he said they're all basically the same product. ?‍♂ The marine one might be a little different but I don't think it is and I do know the blue label Protectant is the same and the Aerospace Protectant.
