I contacted my dealer about a $1,000 incentive for a custom order, which was not listed on my DORA. I was told that all incentives or discounts that were available at time of order would be applied when my truck arrived. But I would confirm that with your sales person, and get it in writing, in the event he has moved on by the time your Ranger is delivered.
Appreciate the info. My dealer couldn't see the offer upon ordering and won't commit to giving it to me in writing. We will see on delivery what happens.. The offer has been extended to July 5th and they have been good to me in the past, hope it will be honored.

2022 Cactus Gray Tremor Lariat 501A ordered
I used this:

Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

Sometimes tricky to get it to understand you. Don't use speakerphone and say the railcar
letters and numbers all together and not too slowly. Good luck!

Thank you so very much!!!! Says ETA industry April 17th at 0800. From what I’ve read industry means final Destination before dealership. Now I know it’s not still sitting in Chicago

Just wanted to thank everyone on this thread….
But after months of waiting and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel….
The deal fell through due to damage to the vehicle.??ā€ā™‚?
The wife and I didn’t even make it to the inside when we noticed a few scratches in the clear, no biggie, but then saw a huge gouge in the lower plastic fairing, still no biggie(easily replaced). But then we saw an approximate 6 in chip/scrape/scuff deep into hood edge. Hood would have to be repainted. I chose to walk away at that point. While some wouldn’t or would be fine with a repainted hood, I chose NOT. I’m not sure I will attempt this again. I may go a different route? I refuse to pay new car money for a used car quality.

Either way, appreciate killing time while waiting for the vehicle. Thank you for all the knowledge and insight.

The vehicle in question was ordered through Friendly Ford in Roselle, Illinois. I’m sure they will mark it up now…buyer beware ?

Wow Alex sorry to hear this happened. I've seen so much damage lately on the Bronco forum from shipping and really haven't seen much at all on here or the Jeep forum. It's to bad it had to be yours, what's your next move or haven't you thought that far ahead? Maybe try again with a different dealer like Granger? At least there you'd get below invoice pricing but I know the wait is a killer!

I had a similar situation with my wrangler. Brand new and paint bubble on the cowel from too many layers of paint from the robot. Told my salesman to bring back my bank check for 32k.........they came back with a loaner and more money off instantly and fixed it up nicely. I already knew they had an excellent body shop, wasn't to worried. Everyone should go over there trucks with a microscope especially if they start delivering the mentioned incomplete trucks.

Appreciate everyone’s input. Dealer didn’t even offer a discount in price for inconvenience??? Just brushed it off like no biggie.
While I did work at a body shop for quite some time, I knew what I could do to rectify majority of the damage/blemishes myself. But the major hood damage was obviously not mentioned to me and was downplayed like it would be taken care of, strip, prime, paint, clear…no biggieā€¦ā€to themā€!!!

Again, as much as it is a real disappointment. This is in fact the second car I tried to order that it showed up damaged from factory/dealership prep. I walked away from that deal too.

Next person may never know/notice, and that’s fine, but I will always be checking and making sure nothing rusts/oxidizes/bubbles whatever. I was waiting for salesperson to tell me to just cover it up with a hood protector ?….but I think she knew I wasn’t going to deal with any BS!

Thanks again, wish those who haven’t received theirs a speedy delivery, and those that have, a many miles care free journey. If I happen upon one I can buy from the lot that meets my criteria, I shall return. Until then, so long, but not good bye! ???

I can't believe it! 35 days after being built my Tremor finally shipped! The gods at Ford must have sensed I was about ready to give up all hope! lol

Great to hear, gives me hope that mine might get dug out of the parking lot someday. Enjoy your ride!

I took a screenshot of the offer and emailed it to them so I had a record of the communication as well.

Thank you.
After talking with the wife , we are going to take 24 hours, relax, and come up with a new vehicle plan. She knows I’m pissed.

The wife brought up a very good point…
The damage on the vehicle hood was on the front edge of the hood. So if the factory or dealership tech were to ā€œtop off fluidsā€, where do they get their fluids from? Usually from a pump/hose mounted from the ceiling?? If you let the hose go or grab incorrectly it will hit the hood edge!! Wife has seen her share of green techs too. Damage to hood would in fact match that description. Inspect those vehicles before taking delivery people. Wish you well ?

A good body shop will have that Ranger just as good as pristine off the end of the assembly line, but I understand how you feel about it. You always need to do what makes you most happy and satisfied.
